"Winning here in Australia means a lot to me, especially given the competitive field we had today," said Norris after securing the victory. His performance was not only impressive in terms of speed but also showcased his strategic capabilities during the race.

The remaining top finishers included Alexander Albon from Williams and Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes, who finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Albon reflected on his performance, saying, "We had a solid race, and it’s great to see our hard work pay off on such a demanding track."

Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz were among the drivers who did not finish (DNF), with Alonso experiencing issues that took him out of the race early. "It's disappointing to not finish, but sometimes these things happen in racing," Alonso commented on his early exit.

With 14 cars officially completing the race, the results saw Lance Stroll, Nico Hülkenberg, and Charles Leclerc also performing well, finishing sixth to eighth place respectively. Oscar Piastri, a local hero and McLaren team driver, finished ninth, to the delight of the home crowd. Lewis Hamilton rounded out the top ten for Ferrari, despite having faced significant competition throughout the race.
